I LOVE YOU BUT....

I will always love and accept you, Sara . . . when you get rid of your postpartum weight.

.

I had a horrible relationship with myself. I didn’t want my daughter growing up feeling how I feel as a mom...talking to herself like I do...

.

I hated the way I looked.

.

I hated the way I felt and everything about me.

.

On the outside, I looked like I had my life together but on the inside I hated myself.

.

The problem was, I wasn’t my own best friend. I was letting my inner mean girl take over.

.

Cultivating self-love is HARD.

.

But how can I change?

.

I started doing things that made me feel good and stopped doing the things that made me feel small.

Here’s a SELF-LOVE exercise for you:

.

—STEP ONE—

Write down all the things you’re doing in your life that make you feel small, yucky, contracted, or not in your truth.

.

—STEP TWO—

Write down all the things that make you feel light, expansive, and aligned with your truth.

Now that you have these two lists in front of you, I invite you to stop doing at least one thing on the first list and start doing more on the second list. ASAP! Life is short, sister!

.

There’s no time for things that don’t make you feel good and light you up.☀️

.

. Today was a big day for me as I have not weighted less than 200 pounds since before getting pregnant with Myah.

Progress not Perfection is my motto!
