Pipe Down Francis

The older I get the more I realize that I am more of an older soul with new era ways of thinking. I see so many of these Gen z kids having no respect for elders and feel the entitlement of thinking that it's okay to say what ever they want when they want. There is a time and a place for everything and some of your opinions do not need to be shared on social media. Your future employers can see these things and depending on what you want to do with your life these posts may be a reason you don't get a job... Don't let social media be the reason you lose out on your dream job.

I am not saying that social media is a bad thing. Because during this pandemic of COVID-19 social media has kept a lot of us together weather that been zoom meetings, happy hour via zoom, it seems like we can really do anything online these days.

There is an old saying if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. That is something that most of Gen z has not heard of between the online bulling to the racism and thinking the sun rises and sets from your ass... guess what I can promise you it does not! It is ok that we do not all have the same opinions and feel different than one and other that is what makes each and everyone of us unique. There is no reason to have any level of animosity towards a person(s) because they think differently than you.

I am sure I will get a ton of hate for this post but it was something that I needed to get off my chest as I am trying to raise a child that is respectful and appreciative to the life that is provided for her.
